Earn Professional Development Clock Hours Through California Early Childhood Online (CECO)
Professional development clock hours and certificates are available for online modules when completed through CECO, an online learning platform.
Benefits of CECO
- The number of professional development clock hours will be displayed for each module and module unit
- You may leave and return to the unit at any time, and your work will be saved
- A certificate of completion is awarded after each module
CECO and the ECE Workforce Registry
An ECE Workforce Registry profile is not required to access online modules through CECO. However, a profile is recommended if you would like modules to be counted as professional development clock hours through the Registry. It is important that your first and last name, and registry identification number are the same in your CECO and the Registry accounts. Learn more about the benefits of the Registry.
