In this module, you will learn about the role of culture, perspective-taking, and how to show cultural respect when interacting with families.

Module Outline

  • Unit 1: Show Cultural Respect
    In this interactive simulation, learners can virtually role-play a situation with a family who may have a culture different from their own. Estimated time to complete: 1 professional development clock hour.
  • Unit 2: Practice: Show Cultural Respect
    In this interactive simulation, learners role-play a situation with a family who may have a culture different from their own. Estimated time to complete: 0.5 professional development clock hour.
  • Unit 3: Practice: Respect the Family’s Role
    In this interactive simulation, learners can practice strategies by virtually engaging with a family through exploring the child’s development. Estimated time to complete: 0.5 professional development clock hour.
